High temperature resistence for plastic flexible packaging
The requirements for temperature resistance of packaging materials are based on the following two reasons: 1.The composite material needs to be sealed before it can be made into a packaging bag.At this time, it must be able to withstand the test of the sealing temperature of 180 to 220 degrees. 2.Some packaging bags need to be sterilized at a certain temperature. High- temperature sterilization methods can be divided into different temperatures: 85°C pasteurization, 100°C boiling sterilization, 121°C high temperature boiling sterilization, 135°C ultra-high temperature steaming sterilization.Of course, heat-sealability is not only a requirement for composite materials, but the inks and and adhesives selected must also meet the corresponding temperature resistance requirements. Nowadays, microwave oven heat sterilization cooking food packaging is widely used, and the temperature of at least 150 degrees can meet the packaging requirements. This has to use some high-strength, various engineering plastics with a melting point of 200 degrees or more as packaging materials.
