Something you should know about pouch making（2）
In the design of pouch making, attention should be paid to the size of the pouch and if the pouch should be made horizontally or vertically. Normally, the thickness of heat-sealing bracket of the three side seal pouch making machine is around 70mm, so if the pouch to be made vertically, the minimum pouch width is 70mm; If it’s to be made horizontally, bags can be arranged back to back, and the minimum length of the pouch will be 35mm. If the pouch size is less than that of the size mentioned above, a special heat-sealing blade must be made for pouch making.
What’s more, some miscellaneous stuff might attach to the heat sealing area of the heat sealing blade and cannot be removed, and some of them would even go off and give off unpleasant smell. If clients allow no surplus edges at the heat sealing edges, then the pouch should be made horizontally.
Full consideration should give to the contrast between the color of the text pattern and the that of the background, avoid using similar colors by all means and make sure the contrast between them is strong, otherwise small contrast could easily lead to blur.
If there’s no color in the background, and the text and pattern are small with light color, generally it cannot be laminated with foil or aluminum coated film, otherwise the text and pattern would be difficult to be recognized because the foil and aluminum coated film are too shiny.
