The process cost of functional design of flexible packaging
1. Determination of economic thickness of materials
Uniform thickness is one of the prerequisites for a material to have a specific protective function.
Taking the barrier functional material as an example, whether the barrier layer is uniform or not will directly affect the overall barrier performance of the material. The barrier performance of the film on the one hand depends on the selection of the barrier layer material, on the other hand depends on the thickness of the barrier layer, the greater the thickness of the general barrier layer, the better the film barrier performance, but when the thickness of the barrier layer reaches a certain degree, the film barrier performance has tended to be stable. High barrier materials are expensive, so the thickness of the barrier layer directly affects the overall cost of the barrier film.
The application of multilayer composite film can effectively reduce the packaging cost. In the production process of multilayer composite film, the uneven thickness of any film will lead to the uneven processing of the subsequent processing, resulting in worse thickness uniformity of the finished film. The use of this uneven thickness of the film for outer packaging, in the use of packaging materials prone to mechanical properties of weak points, if in the packaging, transportation, storage, sales process of packaging by a large external force impact, these weak points prone to cracks, holes and other special preservation function of the material to reduce or completely lost.
2. Control the amount of ink
Only by controlling the amount of ink, can we produce qualified and exquisite printed matter; Only by controlling the amount of ink can the printing speed be improved; Only control the amount of ink can reasonably reduce the cost of products.
3. Reduce the cost of dry compound glue
Dry compound processing is the use of glue to bond two kinds of film materials into one process. In this process, the production cost is mainly composed of glue, solvent, heat energy, electric energy and so on. The main factors affecting the production cost of dry composite processing are the price and amount of materials and energy used.
