The relationship between environment and film property
If temperature and humidity have no effect on the measured performance, neither temperature nor relative humidity need to be controlled. In this case, the environment is "room temperature." "Room temperature" means that its air temperature is kept within a prescribed range, regardless of the effects of relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, or air circulation velocity. Usually, the air temperature range from 18 to 28 degrees Celsius, should be called the room temperature of 18~28 degrees Celsius.
The temperature and humidity control of the test environment has obvious influence on the barrier test of the sample, especially the temperature has the most significant influence on the barrier test. Generally speaking, the influence of humidity on material properties is not as obvious as temperature fluctuations (except for hygroscopic materials), so no need to make excessive requirements on the environmental humidity, usually only control the temperature of the test environment.
